European Ash has fairly good strength properties for its weight, and is also shock resistant. Its tensile strength and fold strength exceeds the strength of white oak wood. It is elastic, wear-resistant and more viscous.

Robinia wood (White Acacia) has high strength characteristics, wear resistance significantly exceeding that of oak and ash. The color of the tree is yellow or olive green, the fibers are straight and sharply noticeable. Acacia shows all its advantages as much as possible, because it can serve for many years, withstanding high loads, without being erased and without losing the original attractiveness of the texture.

Hornbeam wood has a beautiful white-gray shade, similar to ivory, with virtually no distinct fibers, such as ash or white acacia. This wood is a valuable species with a very high density. For its properties, it is also called the "iron" tree.
