Wooden knife tanto - European Hornbeam

Classic wooden tanto for martial arts practice. Tanto is well polished, does not slip in the hand. Blade with facets and a classic tip, powerful handle. Recommended for safe classes of aikido, jujitsu, karate, hand-to-hand combat and many other martial arts. The tree is treated with oil.

European Hornbeam is a fine wood, with a beautiful creamy color. It's one of the woods called “ironwood". It's hard, takes sheering forces well, and is almost exemplary for practice weapons.
