Bokken Bokuto 102 is an ideal option for beginner martial arts practitioners and experienced masters. In terms of its parameters, the bokken is made in the universal classical form used in many styles and schools of fencing (aikido, kendo, ken-jutsu, iaito). Excellent combination of shape (powerful handle and blade) and weight (average weight) makes it very comfortable and easy to control. Which allows high-speed maneuvers and feints. The blade of the sword has faces and a standard deflection. The tip of the sword is made in the classical form, if necessary, it can be replaced with a safe version.
Length: 102 cm (40.1")
Tsuka length: 27 cm (10.6")
Material: European Ash
Weight: ~ 500-550 g
Balance: 45 cm from the end
Deflection: 1.7-2 cm
European Ash has fairly good strength properties for its weight, and is also shock resistant. Its tensile strength and fold strength exceeds the strength of white oak wood. It is elastic, wear-resistant and more viscous.
* Weapon Stand/Holder is not included.
Our Craftsmanship
Each piece is handcrafted from carefully selected hardwoods — European Hornbeam, Robinia and Ash — chosen for their exceptional density, resilience, and authentic feel under real training conditions. Our artisans shape every weapon by hand, ensuring proper balance and weight distribution that serious practitioners demand. Each piece is finished with protective oil, ensuring lasting quality. Behind every Bokuto product is a team that trains in martial arts themselves — so we build what we trust in our own hands.
