The training naginata is a wooden weapon made like a replica of Japanese edged weapons, Chinese Guandao or European glaive with a long shaft and a long blade extending to the point.

European Ash has fairly good strength properties for its weight, and is also shock resistant. Its tensile strength and fold strength exceeds the strength of white oak wood. It is elastic, wear-resistant and more viscous.
* Weapon Stand/Holder is not included. **The brown naginata are treated with a special multilayer brown impregnation and oil, which gives it an excellent appearance and provides extra protection against moisture.
